Nan's V8 D1 has some rust issues and I have a donor parts car that has a good body. Has anyone done a complete body swap as I am thinking this maybe easier that fixing the rusty bits ??

The worst spots are the alpine windows and above the front screen. The top of the rear wheel arches is showing (external) signs as well because of the water sneaking in from the alpine windows.

I had the rust cut out of both those areas last year. Much easier to do that, rather than a complete body swap.

SubscriberIf the body of the parts car is exceptional then i be inclined to do the swap, but for those area's it will be much more painless doing repairs as cripes mentioned.
