When you previously changed the radiator/oil cooler did you use a new one? Where did you source the replacement that has just failed?

to get the oil out, use a liquid dish washing machine detergent.

once it starts to work, setup a syphon out of the header tank and then keep flowing water in.

then just keep up with a detergent and rinse procedure and eventually you'll get it all.

New rad is in and all is done and good 😊
    Yaaaaaay!!

Did find a broken rad mount after all --- one of the ones on the side where the steering fluid bottle is.
Will replace both side ones when I'm back in Perth (for now supporting it with cable ties)
Also decided against the silicone, since the bottom ones were fine.

Got the old rad new from local shop, will take it back and see what the go is....
But last two days of holiday, time to enjoy and not think about that anymore right now.

Again thanks everybody for your help/input!
    Appreciate it.

Hope everyone has a very good start to the new year!
    Simone
