Think you should contact your WA motor vehicle reg.

I'm doing an engine conversion to a RRC, probably covered under ADR1 given the vehicle is 1984. Approval in principle paper work (no engineer cert required) from NT MVR indicated 50mm (2 inch) spring and 50mm (2 inch) body lift acceptable. Assuming an allowance for the increase size of the tyre, it goes on to say that an increase in roof height of more than 150mm (6 inch) above original manufacturers specs is not acceptable.

Whether you could 'pursuade' the department to accept more than 150mm with a barrage of engineer certificates I couldn't say.

The bottom line seems to be no matter how you achieve it 150mm and no more.
