While you are at it measure the front flare from top to bottom.
Maybe start looking at the bushes, body mounts etc.

I edited my last post so include new info. The springs i have fitted are only 30mm lift :(
There's the issue. I'll have to order some new springs and ask tough dog if i can run the same shocks with the new 50mm coils not the 30mm ones.
But yes i will also inspect all the bushes and body mounts just for good measure :)
They should not have sagged much, no bullbar in the pics. Much weight in the back? How old are the coils?

Nothing in the back and nothing in the front. Tough Dog sells the ones i have fitted as a 30mm lift not a 2" as many people say it is. They are basically new. I would say anymore than 2 or 3 months old.
Funnily my toughdogs say 40mm on the tags but are definitely 75mm.

Wish mine was that case. Ill get measurements tomorrow and then possibly try to relate it to what you guys have to work out if it is in fact the springs.
Ride height is looking the main culprit. You should only get a little scrubbing when off road, nothing on road.
Where it is scrubbing is normal. Except for the front
The difference in your flare would explain the front, my 33's would only just get the wheel arch on full articulation. no scrubbing onroad. But when i put the winch on the coil sag meant that i could get some scrubbing on road.
When you are test driving what are you doing?

Sorry I wasn't more clear. They don't rub on road only off road. But it's not only on the inside of the guard it's also on the flares in some spots. Front and rear.
You win some and loose some I guess. I have been told by tough dog that the shocks I have will work with 50mm springs so at least I don't have to purchase new shocks. I've got my eye on some 2" HD king springs or maybe even some 3" terrafirma ones. If that didn't solve the issue then I will have to look at a body lift as I don't particularly want them rubbing on anything.
Anyone interested in some MD 30mm tough Dog springs? :p

If you want zero rubbing then body lift or bump stops is probably the answer. HD coils will make it much less frequent, might not even happen as others experiences suggest. Start there and get a true 2"coil lift anyway, then consider a body lift.
As a bonus a little more gap between flare and tyre would look even better.

I cant find a 3" Terrafirma Kit for a D1 only a D2 so im thinking a 2" HD Terrafirma Spring kit. I looked at the king springs they are cheaper but i havnt heard many good things about them so ill go the better road.
Also a 1" Body lift is only $100 so perhaps ill start with that to see if it is just enough to make them clear things.
