Looks good so far.
See how the top of your front flare lines up with the fold in the panel. Line the back up with that.
There are a few methods for sealing up the gap in the door, from cutting tabs in each side, folding over and riveting to just pump the sikkaflex in there. Both successful, just depends on how you want to go about it.

If you look at my post you will see how i did my rear doors, i used pinch weld on the body and and some thick square rubber from clark rubber to seal the door gap using silicone as well.

I could but then the guards would be along way front the bottom of my door and i would have to cut a huge amount out of the door? Is this the norm?Quote:

So a big thank you to every that has helped me and answered all of my stupid questions!! I finally got the flares on and have ordered my tyres! I went with 16x7 -25mm offset and 265/75/16s. Nice and safe so rubbing or scrubbing.
Heres some pics of my flares and what i did incase anyone stumbles across this in the future. I also modified the rear right mud flap. I bent it so there was more clearance for the tyre but still protects the fuel pipe.

I used M6 bolts everywhere except on the rear doors because i couldnt get to the other side without removing the door trim and the sealers which would be another day just to get it to dry again. So i used Self Taper Screws.

I agree, trim that rear quater panel to be level with the bottom of the flare.

I'm surprised the flares dont reach the bottom of the guards , they are on straight right ?

They are, The ones on the i didnt want to make 100% straight / couldnt really because then i would be cutting far more than i am comfortable doing out of the doors. i could have fitted them so they would of reached the bottom but then they would actually hang lower than where the guard is so it would decrease my tyre clearance. I think that maybe ala-plast has just got the 3 door version and split the rear panels in half? Not quote sure but they are not a 100% fit but im still happy with them.
They look about right in the picture.
Did the rear flare have a step in it to match the step in the panel? If it all lines up then no big deal.
Cannot remember if mine went to the bottom or not (chopped it off when i modified the kaymar to take its place)
