    door stuck locked and wont open

    hi i locked my disco and now the door wont open its the passenger side rear door is there any way of opening it without pulling the back seat out and pulling apart the door trim?

    Hi,

    Have you held the locking button up all the way whilst trying to open the door from the inside? The locking button might look up but it may not be fully up. If the door opens doing that then it is the usual broken locking spring problem covered elsewhere in the forum. My only other suggestion would be what you've suggested.

    yeh mate just tried holding it up while tring to open the door and no luck you can hear it locking and unlocking but wont open

    try holding the lock up from the inside, have someone try opening the door from the toutside, you might find the child proof lock has engaged and you have the broken spring issue

    it can help to have someone tap the door with a rubber mallet where the door lock mech anism is.

    you can also try having someone cycle the central locking while you hold the door lock up.
