    P38a transmission cooler into '97 D1 V8

I am looking to replace my current bottle brush automatic transmission cooler with one from a 2000 4.0 litre P38a, both have ZF4HP22 boxes, my question is will the transmission cooler lines off the P38a have the same thread as my gearbox?
    Thanks,
    Lee

Unfortunately, I've tossed my old one out so I can't check for you.

not sure about the V8 Disco but I fitted a P38 cooler to my TDI and got some 'lifesaver push-ons' soldered on by Enzed. I thing I was able to use the same threaded fittings though from memory. Lots of info on here if you search "P38 cooler"
Heres one thread with links to older threads
