    gearbox question

    hey guys just wondering if any one knows if a 5 speed gearbox and transfer case from a 1991 3.5ltr v8 will fit my 5 speed 1996 3.9ltr v8 disco?

    A 91 has the lt77 a 96 has an r380 , the 380 is the better box and although they will interchange you will have issues with position of gear lever and its likely the lt77 is flogged out.

    Yes transfer is the same if not identical.
