Car turned off tonight whilst turning left?

So I was taking the machine for a spin just before..

First time it does this, but was taking a left turn... engine turned off!

Had to give it a few turns of the key.. turned back on.

    Signs of problem to come?

Is it on LPG? Have you had the pressure checked? Sounds like an LPG problem. Did you loss power or just engine cut out?

Check the battery earth and positive leads, negative should go to block, then chassis, then body, Positive should go to starter motor check terminals at starter motor for tight fit and clean, Regards Frank.

It is duel fuel.. but it was on Petrol not LPG when it cut out.

I actually run it more on petrol now than LPG.

It's just happened once.. cause for concern if it's driving fine again?

Sounds like the ignition switch at the back of the steering lock might be loose.
It happens a lot on the RRC but I'm not sure if the late D1 has the same set up where the crimps securing the switch come loose.
