    transfer case dramas

    Any internal differences between a late 93 lt230 behind an lt77 and a 94 lt230 off an auto? Rear mainshaft gear,behind the round cover plate,from the 93 doesn't want to go into the 94.

    Found the problem.Dug out the old stripped gear from the auto transfer and counted teeth.28 as opposed to the LT77's 26.Land Rovers never stop surprising you.
