    Facelift onto pre-facelift??

    Hi all
    Just wondering if it's possible to put facelift grille, headlamps and indicators onto a pre-facelift model.
    I'm thinking the mounting behind/for the headlamps is going to be the main stumbling block?

    Yep, no probs. I will dig some pics out of mine.

    pic 1 - 91 with 94 front
    pic 2 - 91 as I got it
    pic 3 - 94 donor as I got it.

    Thanks Paul, that's good news! I 'think' I've just bought a '93 200 Tdi for my daughter. One headlight is cracked and de-silvered so it got me thinking about giving it a freshen up. Then I can salt away the original front for a rainy day...after all, the bits for the 'D1a' are somewhat more plentiful!
