Are either a lift? If so I'd be interested in the set you don't use.

Both have 2"lift, I think the freight to up north might off set their value. also a friend wants it for his RR, so I'm trying to make sure I get to keep the best set up hence my question 😀

    hi gary,

I have two discos, one OME with 2" lift, other with bilsteins and 2'' King springs, my humble opinion is that the bilsteins are better, not so harsh and a magic carpet ride on gravel.

the bilsteins have rubber bushes, the OME has yellow poly bushes (may be the harshness)

I dont think the effort to change over is worth the improvement. (a day under the cars)... I would just wait till they need replacement, then buy new bilsteins.
    regards robbo

Thanks, do you need any bits for your discos, seats and door trims are out, let me know or l'll be taking what I don't need to the tip, as you know freight to any where from here is stupid,

I'm a bit the other way. Rangie has king springs and Bilsteins, Disco has king rear springs and OME's. I find the Bilstiens a tad harsh on the dirt, but good on the tar, while the OME's smoother on the dirt but lacking on the tar. Lacking compression dampening maybe???

I believe there are/were different Bilstein shock setting available for the rangies/disco's tho.
