depending on where you drill though, AC bits and vehicle wiring stuff.

Have a look behind the washer bottle and theres a couple of spots you can drag wires through there..

Fair enough call on the back plug, but be warned, when you see the condition of whats behind the front one you're going to worry about the rest of them.

Yea the wires i will drag through the rubber oring behind washer bottle, but want to mount the actual boost sensor on a bracket to that part of the firewall as all nice empty space.

So now you're saying don't remove that one so I don't s..t myself??

Dont mount the sensor there. take it over to the spot in front of the washer bottle above the mud guard. if you put it there the heat from the exhaust will kill it in about 6 months.

no, what Im saying is, change that one and worry about the others then change them later OR
wait till one leaks, change the rest and then either
dont change it with the others and worry about when it will let go and kick yourself for not changing it when you already had the pump and everything else off when it finally starts to leak or
kick yourself for not changing it when you already had the pump and everything else off, take all the parts off and change it with the rest. or
Kick yourself for not changing it when you already had the pump and everything else is off, change it because it was the one that started to leak and then worry about the rest

    yes

    I use
a tooth brush, carby or brake cleaner on both the head and the block
    these for the final work
    http://solutions.3mphilippines.com.p...bute=ImageFile

the green side on the block and the yellow side on the head

I then wash one of the worn out green side parts and use that to dull up the head to a matt finish.

you can also use steel wool on the block side as well as soft wire brushes.

a dremel with a wire wheel my be used FIRST on the holes in the head from the coolant gallary to get the gunge out and to blend over the edge of the hole but dont let the wire go more than 2mm onto the face of the head.

    Holy catastrophic corrosion and cracking

as promised, here are pics of the housing and hairline cracks. not sure if these are just surface coating cracks or right through. dont want to risk it though after all the work and $ ive put in.

the other pic is the block with the cover removed and the p gasket visible just for anyone who wants to see what it looks like. the oil you see at the bottom of the block is from leaking old PS hoses which i have replaced now and the block has been cleaned up.

when you say the back welsh plug is accessible and entertaining. any tips on this? to be honest i dont want to open another can of worms. none of them look too bad and not leaking. i am quickly running out of time and i know its a good time to do them and may not get an opportunity like this and I know you have the best intentions for my engine but i just dont think i can get to them. by removing the non leaking plugs now i am afraid that i could be inviting leaks by not having time to do them properly and cleaning them and sealing them. if they are a bit corroded then i wont have time to araldite the edges and let it cure etc. etc.
