Have you tried stetoscope or screwdriver method?

Maybe do another recording if noise is different.

here. sounds very much like your typical tensioner chirp. but has a new bearing in it. maybe the body of it. wasnt there before though. when i first finished the works. just after i tightened the pully on WP.

Nah like I mentioned above i changed the bearing on it and the pulley seemed fine. There was no evidence of excessive wear. It is fairly new. I may as you say though bite the bullet and just get a new one.
The video may be lying. I went and checked again anyway. The alternator pulley is actually nice and stable and rolls very smooth. The power steering one was a bit less smooth to spin, not sure if it's because you are pushing some fluid through as you spin it.
I recon either water pump because that pulley was loose and i stuffed it, or tensioner. Guess tensioner is the easier job. Might see if the LR specialist here has a spare one that's not noisy just to test it and then I'll buy new one.
drove to work this morning, keeping a hawk eye on the EMS2. running very smoothly and temps and pressures all good. the squeak goes away when warm. which reminds me of when my old tensioner used to chirp, did the same thing. still runs at about 86C though on the madamn. not sure if that is correct. i recon the sender or funny earth is throwing it off a few C. got the alarm at 110C so will still buzz before it hits the actual 120C.
pretty happy with everything. seems to be going really well. touch wood. i love watching the ems at work. gota get me some spade connectors so i can hook up the boost gauge to the wiring i set up and then put the pod in. will post pics once proper finished in the dash department.
Just fired mine up after head replacement and so far so good.

sorry to keep this one alive but had an issue today with the car. drove home from work, ran a little rough until it warmed up properly. work is about 10 mins away. everything seemed fine the EMS2 was showing everything in normal range. pulled into driveway and my wife was at the front. she noticed as i came down the driveway that coolant was coming out the front of the car.
when i looked under bonnet could not see where it's coming from. nothing was leaking out. there were splashes of coolant everywhere. not enough out though to set off the eningesaver but according to her there were a few streams coming out around the mid of the car. most the coolant seemed to be at the expansion tank side. on the aircon compressor, near timing cover and the expansion tank itself. seemed like there was some around the seam of the tank.
the bottom radiatior cowling had a pool of it. i suspect this is where it was dripping from to the floor but possibly coming from somewhere else before then. i also suspect was hitting fan and getting thrown around the place.
had a look all around the head. all seems good. near the water pump and p gasket all semed fairly dry too. so dont think its coming from here. but not 100% as hard to see near there. there was a bit of coolant near the sump cover at the water pump side but barely a drop. didnt look like it was dripping down from further up. the sump drain plug is weeping slightly but that wasn't it.
my suspicion is either expansion tank (brand new, although brit part) or radiator (just re-cored).
all hoses seem dry and ok. i know the system is under about 15psi of pressure. if the expansion tank is split, would that be enough pressure to spray coolant out onto fan etc.? also, could the system be under too much pressure? as in was too full? or external influence? when i filled it up there was no evidence of gasses or air getting into system. seemed to flush ok and level itself off. the temperature seemed nice and low. could the low temp indicate there was too much pressure in system thus keeping temp lower or will high pressure just increase the boiling point but not so much affect temp? if the coolant level is too high does the system purge it? if so, where form?
on another note. that thumping noise seems to come from front of engine, near water pump area. you can hear injectors on other side, under the engine seems fairly quiet, under rocker cover seems ok, around exhaust seems ok, nearish water pump and front of engine the thumping is louder. any ideas? could it be pully out of aligment or something hitting? like harmonic balancer? it is louder at top of engine though, again, near water pump.
