The bearing you talk of has just had the stem pre removed. It is not a special bearing.

Yep, just buy a Ford water pump per the thread below (works perfectly), make the modifications. Or, get one from Les Richmond, same thing - more money but not as much workshop time required - depends on your skills, time, tools, money etc.
