Problem solved! Pulled the motor because of a welch plug leak and decided whilst there to replace rear main seal, clutch and front gear box seal amongst a few other things and found the springs in my clutch plate were totally shot! Still plenty of meat on the old plate, but the springs were getting ready to drop out. Valeo plate if anyone interested.

Crazy. My clutch is only 1 year old or so though. So don’t think it’s that. Has been doing same sound since before then i think. Only just became aware of it after i put new head on. I think it was there before though. My old clutch had few broken springs though and absolutely no meat on it at all.
