    AC compressor

I thought that when I replaced the bearings on the idler and tensioner ( both wobbly ) on the AC belt it would stop shredding the AC belt. No. All that happened was that I heard how bad the compressor was...

Where can I get one? Mario??

John, The compressor bearing can be easily be source from bearing wholesalers in Bayswater, or any of the CBC bearing places etc.
There is a tutorial somewhere on AULRO that shows the repair process and I think it did mention the part number .
    Do a search.
I replaced mine once on my D1 easy job. Don't recall the bearing number though
    Cheers, Mario

PS if you were not in a hurry to get it fixed for this summer you could take it down to Adrian and leave it there.

Thanks for that, Mario.. I reckon Adrian has enough to be going on with... In fact, i am looking at another TD5 right now to source an auto from, and sell the rest. He is pointless.
