    Timing issue

Hi people how are we all.. I have just put a new motor into my discovery series 1 before it came out of the car it ran fine but since fitting it into my car it seems to want to cough n splatter... I've checked leads n plugs and all seem to be fine. Would it be possible the timing might be out by chance. I'm located in logan area n would love to meet fello discovery owners

if you told us what engine you have, would be a good starting point. leads and plugs suggest petrol.
