    Centre console bling

    G'day everyone,
I m looking into getting the centre console parts in the attached photo laser cut from stainless steel, aluminum or black anodized aluminum checker plate! Laser cutting generally gets cheaper with volume, so is anyone else interested?

i was thinking of doing something similar for mine. build something squarish out of steel and rivets or weld, to fit into same spot, then cover with insulation and carpet to help with heat.

whats your plan? can you elaborate more?

oh wait disregard the above. now i get it. i thought you mean get the whole centre cubby made up. i was talking bout building myself a centre cubby cosole.

This is definitely not out of the question! I am not terrified of having metallic things in my car! If you want to develop this idea, I would be more than willing to help you if I can mate! 🤘

thats a pipe dream for me now. baby has priority. the disco has taken a sideline position for now with just maintenance issues looked at but no time spent on fancy things.
