    300tdi idle

    Hi all

    Just wondering what sort of idle speed other 300tdis run on?
    stationary, no aircon (manual box) in neutral mine idles just under 1000, which seems higher than usual...

    any input from other 300tdi owners?

    I think that the manual says they should idle at 850rpm. Mine idles at about 900, but starts to chug a little with the AC on. I need to adjust it up a little. But in saying that, I don't know how accurate the tacho is.

    Mine idles around 750rpm.
