Thread: Does anyone know if Maxi drive axles will fit a 1993 d1

If you have the M/D axles and said disco drop the axles out of the disco and size them up against each other

Err, if the long side is too long, wouldn't the short side be as well? Isn't the track measurement the same?

I have a D1 with maxi axles, and a RRC. I can't just pull them to compare, as the D1 also has a locker, which makes pulling the axle a pain, but I'll happily run a tape over the outside if that helps.

RRC will be 10 spline.

Thanks, I'm never sure. However, I thought the OP was saying the axles he has are 24.

I read it as his disco has 24 spline axles.

If memory serves, you'll have to get the stub axles and cv's from the RRC to be able to fit it, which is NOT a good idea. Ask me how I know

Thanks Guys will have to pull the axles out tomorrow to check length against RRC spec's. Thanks for all replies.

not a good idea? early rangie cvs and stubs are nearly bullet proof
