    Bigger battery in 300tdi.

Had anyone had any luck shoe-horning an n90 size battery in the 300tdi?

I was thinking wether is possible to move the condensor further to the passenger side, as this might just allow enough room.

Indeed they are. Not much more room on the other side either. If you relocated the fuse box perhaps you could turn the batt the other way...

I think another member had posted about moving the AC pipes across, but it sounds like a lot of work(ie. $s) for not much gain.
Easier to move the PS reservoir and shoehorn a N70ZZ aux battery in that space, get a dual battery isolator/solenoid and you'll be all done in a few hours.

My original plan was to do the same, and I got a 70ZZ battery, but in the end the big battery went into the D2, and I just got a smaller(slightly) N70S for my aux in the D1.
I didn't really need all those extra amp-hours for the aux, so basically just got lazy and went with the easiest option.
