    When I had my D2 I fitted Dobinson "+20" springs to the front. It was a very good result. Lifted the front to the std height spec +10mm.
    The springs were the same free length as standard springs but slightly bigger wire diameter, so slightly stiffer.
    Completely stopped hitting the bump rubbers, and I couldn't detect any increase in harshness.
    The car was regularly used for outback camping with the usual loading. Airbags on the back.
