    Rear Diff oil leak

    Checking underneath today

    97 V8 Disco 1

    Does the attached pic look like I will need to do a new flange and seal kit on the rear diff ??

    YES
    Make sure that you keep the oil level up in the diff to ensure that you don't destroy it while you are waiting to effect the repair.

    Might get lucky and its just the flange nut coming loose.

    Great thanks.

    I removed the filler bung on level slab and oil ran out slowly so did it right back up again.
