Thread: Long trip coming up, servicing and things to check question

Hi

My first post with a question. I couldn't find a list of things to check on the forum, so I will ask and then compile a good list :-)

I am driving from Brisbane to the Great Ocean Road in two weeks, and have been going over the car. ( Bought it recently off my dad, and I know he serviced it regularly and didn't treat it hard).

Its a 1994 300tdi Auto, uses no oil and has been serviced regularly.

What I have done so far:
Oil/Filter Change
New Injector Pump
New Rubber Donut on tail shaft
greased all places
Brake fluid flush
New timing belt
new fan belts

the transmission was rebuild about 8 years ago and my mum has been driving it, so it should still be pretty healthy

What else should I check?

We are going to phillip island and then across to the great ocean road. I was thinking of camping at Devils Kitchen, but I can figure out if you can take your 4WD there anymore
