    Discovery 1 Rims

A question, are D1 steel rims tubeless, these seem like a good option for the Perentie.
    Cheers Baz.

    Yes they are.
    16x7 33mm offset.
I've never been able to find a load rating for them.
I ran them on my County with 255/85R16, the tyres just touched the upper rear spring mount on full flex, and needed the steering stops adjusting out a bit.

Depending on what tyres you run, Wolf style rims are available tubeless 16x6.5 22mm offset.

Won't comment on the suitability, but yes, they are tubeless, steel, or alloy ones

I've got a set of NTC5193 max. load is 1650kg
    Which I have had galvanises
    Currently wearing 235/85 Bridgestone muddies
With prob better than 85% tread depth but they are more than a few laps around the sun

Albeit spent most of their life in the shed with no UV
    So no cracking etc

Problem is the distance roughly half a parsec from Tassie

If you have a way of getting them I like beer

I also won't comment on the compatibility, but I had some on my SIII if that's any help.

The tyranny of distance, it was $300 for one tyre last time I had one shipped from VIC, the mind boggles what 4 or 5 would be

    Thanks for the offer though.
    Cheers Baz.

The Wolf rims sound like a good idea, I was looking at 235/85s, basiclly using the tyres I'm running on the Perentie now, then going to the 255s once these wear out.
    Cheers Baz.

KLR have new "Wolf" rims in tubeless, they also have them in a 0 offset.

    Wolf Tubeless Rim, 16x6.5" 21mm Offset, Black - ANR4583B-21

They probably get better freight rates than you and I.

I used to run Disco 1 steel wheels on Perenties with no issue.
But by the time I have purchased them, powder coated there are cheaper and better alternatives.

I use on all customers Perenties now new wheels from LR Part Shop, I use the 0 offset but they come in std offset as well.

From what I've been told, the standard offset is +33?

I've been looking at LRPARTSHOP, they have the rear disc brake conversion for a very good price.
    Cheers Baz.
