I am not sure about it, I drilled 2 holes on the floor and used 5/8 ss botls and big washers. At the top, to not upset the trimming I secured the cargo barrier with 2 long bars using the baby seats anchor places on each side leaving the center free just in case.
It is very solid, believe me.
    Cheers

I did the same as Chucaro. However I haven't reinstalled it after the LPG went in. Have to modify the floor mounts as they got in the way of the LPG tank.
I got the idea from DiscoDan so there are a few Discos at least floating around like this.

I used an upside down Mitsubishi Magna barrier. Fits really well. Although it sits about 20cm above the floor line which is what I needed due to having cargo drawers.

My RH side bracket came loose & I recall I had trouble getting a fixing in there. I don't believe there is any metal to fix to, it just seemed like anchoring into that compressed plastic they use. Seemed ok for that application ( ie. non load bearing)

I certainly wouldn't fix any barrier to it.

same bolt as the top of the rear seat belt
One wonders whether that would contravene some Reg. as that bolt would need to take the strain of the passenger, the barrier & any other gear that was trying to push the barrier over in the event of a prang.

    Just a thought, is all.
