Nudge Bar Fitting On 95 Land Rover Discovery

I am in the proccess of fitting a genuine Land Rover Discovey wrap around nudge bar and I have a problem that is not clear on the LR CD I brought on the fitting instructions because there only pictures no written instructions.

That part I need to know about is the plastic part that the number plate is screwed to does this go back on as this had to come off to pass the nudge bar brackets through the bumper bar.

It needs to be trimmed to re- fit, i sold my original LR bar and fitted it to the purchaser's car and that piece wouldnt fit back without trimming.

What kind of trimming was done hope nothing awfull looking.

I'm not the sure but looking at the Rave CD for fitting the nudge bar and someone can confirm this for me but to me LR included another plastic trim to replace the standard plastic trim ?

I'll have to call Ritters tomorrow who I brought the nudge bar off to see if this is correct or not or if it has been trimed.

You could hardly tell it was trimmed, it only needs to be done around where the mount brackets come up over the bumper and you cut 2 strips out for the mounts to go thru.

Sorry I hadn't seen your post sooner. I went through a similar ordeal with my nudgebar here.

Good to see you've got it sorted. I ended up having to buy the plinth from LR.

Wish I found that thread as well as I did do a search before making this thread.
