bloody disco alarm remote
Hi guys recently I went driving minding my own biz when the road jumped up and shook the beast and me, after this the hazard lights began to flash. When I turned them on they went twice as fast HUMMM. So in a fit of rage I puled over and started looking for the relay! I found it eventually after busting some plastic tabs the little bugger was in a small box on the LH foot well to the far left. Thinking I was very smart I pulled the plug out! YEP I know both of em, but hey the hazards stoped SUCCES when I plugged them back in they came straight back on until I went to start the bugger, she would not start (had to roll start in reverse with only a couple of metres of room how good am I) but the 4ways stopped flashing all was well again "except I was to scared to turn it off till I got home". Any way I have a point the monster lives again starts as normal BUT the friggen remotes wont work any more (not that they worked very well anyway).
So my question is does any one know how to get em working again with out a trip to Land Rover, so missus will have some cash to remove from her second wallet?

It sounds like you've managed to trip the inertia switch
.
It's easily reset - I'm sure it's in the engine bay on a D1.
BTW, the jump in your avator will do this everytime.
Also, have a look here for other suggestions:

That’s great
but I need more information, after all your talking to a bloke that did his block and forcibly found his way into the problem area and started randomly unplugging stuff until I got the desired result.
