    D1 Electrical gremlins

    G'day all
I have just recently bought my first Disco.

    95 3.9V8 Auto.

It came with a few electrical gremlins.

Central locking does not work at all.

    Rear windows do not work.

I have checked fuses, all OK.

I checked and there is no power to the drivers central locking.

Are there control units for these systems? If so, where?

I also have trouble with the cruise control. It does not work. Light comes on but I discovered that the vacuum hose to the cruise control diaphram does not connect to anything. Any ideas where I can get vacuum hose map or similar?

Any help would be most appreciated.

    Cheers

    Geoff

Try looking behind front left light there is a vacum device there may have something to do with it.The central locking could be a number of things. If no power there then it could be a wire broken or unplugged in the door.Cheers Brett

google rave downloads of greenoval.com and you can download the section of rave you need to get you started before your cd arrives.

    Geoff,

A very common fault, all to do with faulty soldering on a circuit board
It will cost you nothing to fix if you have a soldering iron.

You need to take out the glove box and behind it is the circuit board that is the problem. More info and pics:

PM me if you need more detail.

    Horn

The horn doesn't work. Checked the fuse and it's OK with power at both sides. Is it connected to the same circuit board?
