    What are the draw backs of fitting 33'' tyres e.g los of gearing, speedo loss etc.

    yeah, 33s will definately put your speedo out and change the way your car brakes and accelerates. The standard tyres are around the 30 inch size so thats a fair increase to 33 inches. It looks tuff but to do it properly you will have to change the centres from 3.54's to 4.11's and while you are there you may as well throw some lockers in plus you will need flares and probably a guard chop...so its isnt as simple as just throwing 33's on

    BTW, Knotty, I got my procomps and have fitted the dislocation cones..heres a pic for ya thanks for your help in this

    Thanks mate i thought that would be the case, what about 32'' tyres?
    Would you need a body lift?
    And i really like the look of how much flex your disco has.

    I run 32" tyres on mine without a body lift but i have cut a fare bit off the back quarter and i am getting more cut out of all gaurds for a bit more clearance.Cheers Brett

    No worries mate. Looks good, thats how disco's are spose to flex

    thanks mate, I am very happy with it now. heres a pic from this afternoon

    theres no way it would have climbed this log and kept the rear wheel on the ground before

    where did u guys get the dislacation cones from as i think this is my next step and change my suspension to the procomps as im now finding the ome suspsion a tad hard
