    Bad Vibrations

    HI all,
I have just replaced my front most steering control arm, the rubber doughnut and the forward drive shaft, thing is I have a vibration and "whine" coming through the car it feels like it is coming from the front, i can feel it through the accelerator pedal and steering wheel on acceleration with nothing on deceleration or coasting.
I have check the doughnut and it is installed the correct way swapped out the front driveshaft for the old one and the same vibe is present, my question is do i just have a big wheel alignment issue from the replaced steering arm, this replacement was needed due to the old one been bent back behind the diff, or has something else gone ? front diff ? power steering box (which now has a static leak)

When the rotoflex coupling was replaced, was the bush in the propshaft also replaced? It comes with the coupling kit and is a pain to remove so it might not have been.

Thanks Guys, the rubber coupling is installed correctly, we didn't change the locator as none came inthe kit, I am willing to give this a go as the old had slight damage!!
News is that a mate came around and we pulled everything off again with no reduction in noise or vibe, we were both convinced the noise is from the front and removing the front shaft we found the front diff has movement in and out when pulling on the 4 bolt flange about 2-3 mils so we are thinking this may be it, also the oil seal is leaking with what looked like the murray river dripping out, so oil has been changed (oil removed was very milky), I am guessing again that the front diff bearings have gone, can anyone confirm if the diff should have play in and out,
2nd question is the new shaft i fitted to the front is different to the old one, this one is thinner both of D1's and listed in the rave manuals, again is this it??
Thanks for everyones help a little confused here

hey mate - check out that link above for the conversion as his rubber disc is backto front compared to our haynes manual... one of them has to be wrong
