I think you may need a quarter chop.If they are as i expect 10.5" wide or wider and you will definitely need offset rims.Hope this helps
just got a set of 33" jt2's for a good price now i need to know what else i need to do to fit them
currently i run 235/85/16 tyres and have a 2.5" front lift and 3" rear lift and have trimed the rear arch.

IIRC the 33x10.5-16 on 16x8's measure 260mm through the bag.

yeah they are 10.5 wide how much off set would you recon? how much extra cutting do you think would be needed or would a body lift fix it?
Body lift would fix it for sure.Try this link.

im running the same tyres on my disco rims with the only prob being my turning circle has been cut in half,i have a 2 inch body lift,2 inch suspension and have a quarter panal chop and have removed the door sills and trimmed the front also, soon will have a flare kit with a proper guard cut.

if you are only running 33s i wouldnt do a bodylift, just fit a set of flares and get +25mm offset rims im running 35s at the moment on my disco 1 and i got flares offset 15x8" rims and 3"spring lift it only just scrapes the rear flare in full flex,im just about to do a 2 and a half inch bodylift, but i think it would be unnecessary for you to do a bodylift with 33s.
thanks.
not sure if i will do it now.
to much risk of breaking stuff
There is not much difference in what you are running now.Its 40mm so breaking stuff won't be two much of a problem. Here's A site to have a look at
