No apology necessary matey. The faster commodore's yes...I had a VT S with 16 inch mags and the Michellin Pilots on that were over $200 and that was many years back.

As for the XPCs they are an excellent tyre, but I have found that the Pirrelli Scorpion is a better tyre both on and off road and in all conditions (albeit there is not much in it). Having said that, yes the XPC gives better miles...and it would want to for the cost. But, it often depends on feel and individual likes and dislikes, so each to their own tyre wise...as you say if we agree on everything we would all be driving the same machine.
