    2 inch Lift Upgrade Kit

I'm looking to get a 2 inch lift upgrade for my 95 Disco and I have seen these on ebay for $625.00 using Dobinson or Ironman coils and Gas Desert Fox or Gas Ironman Shocks.

Looking for feedback on these brands and if I should go for it.

I can tell you that the Dobinsons/Ironman coils are great and dont suffer from sagg like others. Not sure about the shocks tho. Have you tried talking to Shane at suspensionstuff (web site)?

    Hi,

Not sure about Dobson and Ironman stuff, but I have King springs and Bilsteins shocks, which are great.

I think there are a set of new King springs on the bay for about $300!
That's not a bad deal either.

I've got a set of 2" OME springs you can have for say, $100? For the shocks, as stooge said, check out suspensionstuff.

I have the same setup now having replaced the TJM Series 2000 kit. It's definitely a better ride but you know what, the TJM kit wasn't that bad after all.

I've got Ironman shocks and springs and think they are a great thing . a little stiffer than the more expensive brands but for the price they are great . My next set of springs and shocks will be EFS stuff . have heard a lot of good things about them .

You can even come down to Colac and have a drive if you like to see if you like the ironman stuff

I had a look at suspensionstuff and found no kits on the site for a disco 1.

I have been also on the ironman site and found a 2 option kit the have available depending on how often you will be going 4WD so I am more inclined to go ironman direct they also offer free postage as well.

I'll just have to problem of finding someone to install them for me as I don't have enough time these days and would like to have them in before xmas incase I get a chance to go 4WD with my bro.

I'll install it for you mate for the price of a few beers . Come down for the afternoon . Will save you a heap of cash instead of getting a suspension place or mechanic to do it .
