The clamps would look unsightly and could be a RW issue with sharp edges if the cops wanted something to nab you on

Going to go with the clamps just to make sure mate . Won't be any sharp edges with the way i'll be putting them on .

Thanks Guys . I have progressed a little further today getting the holes cuts and all the elbows and stainless in place . Went and seen my local steel man and i have the snorkel booked in to have some stainless brackets welded to the pipe to make as strong as possible . So i'll be able to bolt it on properly as of tuesday arvo . Still yet to do the plumbing to the airbox . still working on that and which way to go about it ........

Has anyone made one of these for a TD5 Defender? If so do you have any pics or plans?

Just a small update ...... The snorkel is at the welders getting the brackets and a couple of threads welded on . I pick it up tomorrow some time .

Got the snorkel back from the welder and it looks great . I have bolted it up and i'm more than happy with it . just waiting on my hose clamps still ......
