Yep i would go for water-proof seat covers and maybe try autobarn or supercrap for some really chunky rubber mats that would cover all the carpet
And don't forget to wind your window up when driving in MUD

Now that iv got the muddies i want to try more of the slop, but i pride myself on the state of my interior! its spotless!
Now does anyone have and ideas on how i can get muddy on the outside and protect the inside? iv thought of getting some water proof seat cover that can be put on each trip them washed, but what about the carpets? are there any good rubber mats that could do the trick?
As for the outside the muddier the better!![]()

Mudtamer Floor Mats - Bushranger
Supercheap do some really good ROAD GEAR rubber mats with high sides. They fit really well in the Disco. I bought some last time I went to Stockton. Low cost, high benefits.
What you also need to do is make sure all your door seals are in really good condition and the two slits at the bottom are sealed.
It easy for silty mud to get in when sitting in a deep bog hole.
I prefer to drive are deep bog holes, had to replace too many wheel bearings and stub axles.

I got my rubber floor mats from local Autobarn.
Cut slots in the front ones which lock into existing LR floor locks.
Rear mat cut to size and covers the complete floor area.
Just lift out and wash when dirty/muddy. Really good investment.

What is the purpose of those two slits in the bottom of the door seal ? Is it just to let the water out because they couldn't design a water proof door ?
Its the one thing that makes me think twice before taking it for a swim.
Just a thought from reading what ZUTE had to say, is there actually anyway of waterproofing the door? you would still need to have a rubber mat of some sort to stop you from walking mud in the cab, but it would of prevented me from having damp carpets in the front foot wells![]()
