I attempted to fit a V8 D1 Manual center floor console to a TDI D1 Manual today without success ?? I'm guessing there is a difference between V8 and Diesel ? I finally was able to get it into position and the screws lined up......... But the gear selector and Hi-Low selector would not ??

Can anyone advise if this is correct ?? and I would need to get myself a TDI Console ?
