Most battery places sell them, you just need to shop around. I think last time i got one it was from as 12 volt camper conversion shop.

Well I had a look with a small mirror underneath the tray today and saw that I've left some bare metal exposed still. Ill be using a ball of cotton wool and dunking it in the paint and applying it by hand. Probably use a latex glove so I don't have to shower in turps to get my hands clean again after too. The small shaver brush I tried using initially did no good at reaching the tight spots and now consequently is dissolving in a jar of mineral turpentine

get hold of a fish oil gun (the one I have is suitable for spraying sound deadener and fish oil), they have an adoptor with a 500mm hose that you can use for sticking in doors etc. Give it a go with unthined paint and in a week or so give it a liberal coat of fish oil.
    cheers
