    33" Conversion on a D1?

Has anyone around here done one? I was speaking to a friend tonight and said that 31 or 32 would be the biggest you would be able to go before having to bugger around with gearing? I understand that you would need some offset rims and 2inch lift and possibly a 2 inch body raise. I know that people have put on 265's and just adjusted their steering stoppers but i dont want to sacrifice any turning circle id rather get the rims and lift etc. Also how would a disco travel at 110+ on the highway with the 33's or 32's?

fine... mine travelled nicely at 160 on 35's

You'll need 4.11 gears etc plus lift, flares, etc

I run 32's on mine with no gearing mods it feels it a bit but i would go 33's next(no gearing mods). Will need 2" suspension lift and at least 1" body lift offset rims to run the 33"

    Hey Shamo,

Mine is a pretty simple setup, -25 offset 16x8 rims, 33 MTRs, EFS 2 inch spring lift and most importantly the flexi flares.
