Thread: Engine Number ?

Can someone tell me where to find the engine number on a 300 tdi. It's in a 96 disco. Also where is the chassis number. I'm putting it through for a rwc and they can't find the numbers. If I could find my rave cd I could check myself.

Engine No is on R/H side of block. Come directly down from No1 injector and just below where the head meets the block will be the engine No., there is usually white paint there. The Chassis No is on the R/H side of the chassis rail, in the Front wheel arch you will see it if you look between the front spring and the wombat bar mount.
