Will be going to a RRC

Well i have loved every second of owning a Discovery!!! But i have always wanted a Range Rover! and the wait begins, i am waiting for that perfect sale to come up much like 86Mud which i could of got but by the time i was set to buy it was sold ...But i shall be waiting for another amazing buy to come up jump on it straight away as my old man said he will buy my Disco off me so i will not have to part with him as such

So shall the wait begin...If you know of any buys like 86Mud (which i dont even know if one as good will ever come up again!) Let me know willing to travel far up and down the east coast!

What should a 4x4 like 86Mud of sold for so i can have an idea whats a good buy

    James.

Shame to hear your leaving the Discovery, at least you're keeping it in the family.

Grover 98 I feel your pain. I too long for a RRC now, always on the look out and trying to save the $. The LR bug has bitten me. I love my vehicles and you can never have too many. My problem is I like wrecks and basket cases.

I previously had an 87 RRC and when that had been pigged to death got myself a newer disco.

The only thing I miss about the rangie is the centre arm rest on the front seats.

The tail gate space is shaped differently with the cargo area in the RRC much lower but also deeper, but then you also have a wheel in there as well. So I guess this will pack the engel a little better as well, but taller items wont fit.

The rest is much of a muchness.

I went for the disco because it was cheaper than a simillarily aged RR.

Yeah thats the kind of thing im looking for...I don't think i will find one as good as the one i have just missed

But how much should of the range rover in the link i posted of sold for? As that is the kind of build i am looking for, pretty much a finished job so all i have to do is have some fun. So how much should i expect to pay for that level of Range Rover?

    Cheers James.

the link is no longer valid, however I would say a rover with f&R lockers, big wheels etc would be somewhere between 6 & 16K depending on what had been done to it, condition, and desire of seller and purchaser to proceed with exchange.

And it is probably the last point that will be the biggest influencing factor.
