Thread: 3.9 Air box tube ?

    The photos Cucinadio show is the crankcase vent.

    If you are referring to the fuel pressure regulator , it should be attached to a vacuum source at the back of the plenum. There is usually a dedicated little outlet which must be either plugged or used or you will have an air leak and it will not idle slowly.

    The Fuel pressure regulator is located on the back of the fuel rail.ie the tube that the injectors are attached to. The disco one is on the LH rear and is shown in Lotz-a -landies photo just below( or above on the photo) the Kickdown cable.

    Thanks, thats correct, the hose from the regulator goes to a outlet on the fule stepper motor on the back of the plenum. Hard to get at ,cant see,put on by feel type of fitting.
