    Rego tomorrow

...i am going for my pink slip tomorrow, i have fixed up all the problems with the Disco so today i got underneath and i now believe i should of worn a shirt as i was spraying degreaser and whipping all the dirt and grim off...so now i am COVERED in grease! back and front arms ...

Will be a mission to get it all of maybe i should degrease myself

Well my only real concern for the car is the fact i have removed both mufflers i don't think he will like that, if it fails due to that would putting a small resonator on the end of the pipe fix this?

    Wish me luck!

good luck mate, he may not like the muffler-less disco, if he fails it, just ask him what he expects and get it to his standard and go from there.

I have found that its little point 'shopping' around too much for these things, each mechanic has his idea of what should be up to scratch and if you go somewhere else, they will probably find something else for you to fix

I have done the right thing by cleaning all underneath the car so it looks fine all the lights are working fine and i cleaned up all the oil leaks...the only drama might be the exhaust so i will do as you have said if he doesnt like it i will ask what he wants done then on the way home drop into my local muffler guy . But if he passes it fine i will always go there from now on.

congrats.........is this your first rego? as I was reading this wondering what on earth you were getting your self all worked up about.

I started writing the other night what will probably happen in your pink slip...I never ended up posting but alas its exactly what has happened.
