Just do not tighten it up so tight next time. The apprentice had the car on a hoist and decided to do a swing off the spanner.
Funny you have bought the same spanner as I have.
It doesn't have to be very tight.
You are supposed to buy a new copper washer each time as they are a crush washer, but I use a bit of Loctite thread sealant on mine.
I change mine every 5-6KK
Most council dumps in NSW anyway will recycle up to 20 litres free.

In a perfect world you would use a new washer, just as you should use a new one every time you clean a spark plug. What's that you say. clean spark plugs? I still do. Old habits die hard. I too use a bit of teflon Loctite pipe sealant and not a new washer as I have run out of that size and would have to buy them.
