    LRA Body lift install

    Hi all,
I have just purcahsed a LRA body lift kit to be fitted to a series 1 disco. Is there anyone on here in the Townsville or North Queensland area that had had experince with fitting this kit?
I was reasonably confident I could do it my self untill i read the instructions and it seems a little more involved than i first thought. I was under the impression that everything you needed was in the LRA kit is this correct, I have read on this site of people having trouble fitting it, eg auto cooler lines not long enough when you raise the radiator, I have just got new ones of these and don't want to need to get more.
I presume it would cost a packet to get a 4wd shop to install it. I'm happy to provide plenty of amber ale, if there is someone in Townsville who has fitted one of these kits before and could lend a hand.

    Any help appriciated
    Andrew

    Hi Andy,
I'm in Towsville too, would like to get ths LRA kit as well.
Have read a lot about the kit and spoken to the guys down there,
when I lived in Vic, and I'm shore all parts needed should be in the kit.
    Would love to help.
can give you heaps of morle support, but can't do any lifting.
Still off due to my back.

Each rover has their own quirks.

Fitting the kit is not difficult - just time consuming.

In addition to the kit, I needed -
    Range rover steeing shaft
    Longer Clutch Line
    Longer Oil cooler lines

Don't be too afraid to do it, not that much mechanical abilty is required.

    Cheers
    Dave

When I emailed Andrew from LRA and asked him if this kit would have the mounts to lift an arb winch bar provided they use the standard mounts (just like it will lift the standard bar), he told me bull bars are no problem. I'm looking at this kit and it doesn't look like my arb bar will fit, or at least will need to be modified.

Has any one fitted this kit with an arb steel winch bar, and does it fit with the body lift???? or does it need to be modified??
