No, you were right, I am in a D1. I was just noting the different size wheel arches so what's true for one is not necessarily true for the other. Noted a couple of D2s at Kenilworth recently with bigger arches allowing bigger tyres without rubbing.
opps sorry mick I though you were in a D1 my bad hence you asking in a D1 tyre thread! yes you should have no issues on a D2
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

Hi Guys,
Dont mean to hijuck but didnt want to start another threaad but i am looking at Bighorns and wanted to go 265/75/16s on a steel wheel. I have a 2inch lift. Dont mind a bit of cutting. The other option is the same as dullbird 245/75/16. Any help will be appreciated.
Well after a very long wait new wheels arrived
In the end it was Procomp Series 87 with +12mm offset and 245/75/R16 Bighorns
I'm very happy with the result and thanks for all the input
Just need to find some plastic strips off a d2 to cover the rear guard where I attacked it with an angle grinder =)
That looks sweet!
So now that you have the tyres earlier, are you heading out on the weekend?
Same wheels and tyres as me![]()
