Thread: Got Old Mate back this arvo.

Well after its little stunt down the coast, blowing a slave cylinder, I got the bugger back today. Cost me nearly 350 bucks Tell you what though, Im glad the beasty got as far as it did before completly pooing its pants. It drove over 3 hours with just water to operate the hydraulics. Pulling into my driveway, he said "no more" and had to get towed the 1 1/2 kms to LVS in Silverdale (costing $45 ).

End of the day, Im happy to have it back. It is only money afterall.

Any of you had your Disco completly die right near your home after it put in a a huge effort to get you home?

I had mine die in the driveway after i had a long range fuel tank put in.It got me home after driving slowly enough in peak hour traffic for about 45 min.The fuel pump **** itself I literally just coasted into the drive way Put a new one in and shes all good again!
