    stock axles will be fine till the first big verticle rock step.. ive done all the wattagans many times over and broke my first axle at the place with no name in western sydney

    I think the same guy did a good deal on lockers here once also

    Wasn't that Rovertrax? Keith ('REVOR' on AULRO) was the one I thought we were getting that group buy of Tru Tracks etc from?

    Break a axle with a detroit and you break the detroit as well.
    Unless the standard axles are bullet proof ......up grade.

    maybe I have got the name wrong!

    But there is an american brand also that sells axles just as strong as maxi and I believe they are cheaper...

    It's not the ones rover track sells (well it might be)
    As these guys had there own website and they make axles for just about everything inc landrover.. I found the website when I was looking for other competitors when doing my maxi research on the net.


    Edit: sorry it was long fields and although I was sure they did something for landrovers they don't unless it was a case that they did and now they don't any way sorry for the mess up

    ive broken a OE axle in my rear detroit, drove home at 80kph, pulled the axle and the broken spline came out with a magnet...my detroit is deffinatly not broken....
