    Madman EMS for a D1 - type and location

    Currently organising to get a Madman EMS http://www.nata.net.au/, but having trouble deciding which model to get. Either the EMS1 (shallow wide unit with bigger display) or the EMS2 (deeper square one).

    I know a few of you have them installed - so which type did you get and where have you located it on your Disco.
    Any pics of them installed would be great.

    No issues with it getting too hot sitting in the sun?
    Out of interest what size is your LCD? I'm assuming its a touch screen?

    It hasn't melted yet but it does read a little grey when hot. You can still read all the information though.

    As for the screen, yes its a touchscreen and its too large

    10.4 inch from Ebay Hong Kong. I should have gone for the 8 inch but it is not too bad. It is mounted on an adjustable frame so I can swing it to gain access to the heater and other controls.
